1. Open new White Image 450 x 400.
Add a new layer
2. Set the colour boxes to
Top to E4C192
Bottom to A3CBD5
or colours of choice.
Through the Gradient Box find your colours
Using these settings
3. Flood Fill the new layer
Go to EFFECTS...PLUGINS...VISMAN EXTRAVAGANZA...JAMES BONDAGE
Use the default settings.
4. Back to the colour box
Now swap the 2 colours around
Open up Slat tube and copy, paste as new layer.
Go to SELECTIONS...SELECT ALL...FLOAT...DEFLOAT
Flood fill your slat.
Selections None.
5. Open up water tube and copy, paste and new layer
Position
X out the background layer
Merge layers Visible.
Go to EFFECTS...3D EFFECTS...DROP SHADOW
Vertical / Horizontal 2
Opacity 39
Blur 9
6. Open mermaid tube...copy, paste as new layer
Position
Go to EFFECTS...3D EFFECTS...DROP SHADOW
Vertical -10
Horizontal 2
Opacity 15
Blur 9
Keep the white background Xed out
Merge layers visible.
7. Open up Clouds (Mask) minimise
PSP 7...Go to... MASKS...NEW...FROM IMAGE
PSP 8 / 9...Go to...LAYERS...NEW MASK LAYER...FROM IMAGE
Source Luminance checked
From the drop down menu, find the clouds mask.
PSP 7...Masks...Delete...yes
PSP 8 / 9 ... Layer....Merge Group
Duplicate the Layer
Un X out the background layer
Merge Layers Visible.
8. Now if you would like to add any brushes than this is the time.
Get creative!
9. Onto the font
Open up the font you will be using.
I used Avant Garde...colour black...vector
Taking your initial, I set the size to 72 and then using the vector grid pulled the letter upwards.
Convert to Raster
For the rest of my name I changed the size 28
On the layer palette, change
BLEND MODE to SOFT LIGHT.
Merge Layers FLATTEN.
10. Go to IMAGE...ADD BORDERS
First Border
White...2
Second Border
Blue...2
